When possible we source fresh all natural ingredients from local suppliers that do not have a long travel time to our bakery. However, some ingredients must travel a long distance, like from the Midwest of the United States but we feel really good about supporting US farmers. These are the same ingredients you would have in your own kitchen. No additives or preservatives, no guar gum or xanthum gum – we prefer baking without them! Sunflower Seed Butter
Naturally Nut Free. Grown in the United States in a region where peanuts are not grown, fresh roasted and ground into the perfect consistency in a dedicated Peanut Free and Tree Nut Free facility. Sunflower seed butter is an excellent source of Vitamin E and Iron with the same amount of protein and double the fiber as peanut butter. Sunflower Seeds are rich in Magnesium an essential electrolyte and contain Thiamine which aids in proper brain function and metabolism of fats and proteins. No hydrogenated oils with zero trans fatty acids.
Non-GMO, Peanut Free, Tree Nut Free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, and Sulfite Free.
Brown Rice Flour
Made from long grain brown rice, a very versatile gluten free flour which creates a wonderful base for our sunflower seed butter to shine. Stone ground for a fine blend with no gritty taste. Brown rice is high in protein, iron, fiber and vitamin B also providing magnesium, phosphorous and copper. Certified Gluten Free, Certified Organic, Non GMO and manufactured in a tree nut free, peanut free and gluten free facility. The manufacturer of this ingredient conducts their own protocol and testing in order to adhere to the highest standards.
Select cocoa beans grown from cooperatives in West Africa then processed into a premium ingredient. Cocoa powder contains copper, magnesium, iron, phosphorus and calcium.
Our mini chips are made from premium cocoa nibs grown by cooperatives in West Africa. Organic Cane Sugar,Unsweetened Chocolate & Cocoa Butter. The cleanest chip you can find – and no soy!
Fresh squeezed lemon juice contains vitamin C, citric acid, flavonoids, B-complex vitamins, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, fiber and more potassium than apples – phew! We choose to manufacture our cookies in a facility that has been producing baked goods with restricted ingredients for over 25 years. Our cookies are made on shared equipment that at other times processes peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, and soy products. We utilize an approved GF process to avoid the risk of contamination across product lines. In addition we test every baked batch of Early’s Edibles cookies in an accredited third party laboratory Bia Diagnostics utilizing ELISA Gluten and Peanut test methods to determine that our products are Gluten Free and Peanut Free to the lowest detectable levels. This end of batch testing ensures us that there has been no contamination with equipment or ingredients. We do not distribute any Early’s Edibles Cookies until we have received approved results from this offsite laboratory.
